All the links in emails from this project, such as updates from this forum or from the newsletter, all go through tracking.morevnaproject.org. However, this domain presents an SSL certificate for api.elasticmail.com. This mismatch causes an issue with any browser that tries to use or force an HTTPS connection when opening a link from an email from this project.
Thank you for reporting! Will look at it…
I can’t reproduce the issue in my browser… Do I need to enable some specific option?
I have Firefox with HTTPS-only mode enabled, which makes it very noticeable. The emails don’t specify a protocol and the subdomain does not use HSTS, so if you don’t have an option like this set or go to an address with https explicitly specified, you probably would not notice. Depending on your browser, clicking on this link might be enough to see the issue: https://tracking.morevnaproject.org/tracking/. Either that or your browser will just downgrade your request to HTTP.
Got it, thank you!
There should be an option to disable track clicks in our email sending services, but I couldn’t find it right now. I submitted a ticket to support about that.
Yes I can confirm that it has been fixed now, thank you very much.
